WHO NPO VISIT

A World Health Organization (WHO) Programme Officer in charge of Urban Health Initiative, Mr. Gordon Dakuu visited Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC), Kintampo in the Bono East Region on Tuesday 16th March to Friday 19th 2021. The purpose of his visit was to understand ongoing activities in KHRC especially in the area of Environmental Health to build synergies going forward. He first called on the Director Dr Kwaku Poku Asante and had a meeting with the core Environment Health team. He was taken on a tour of KHRC and a series of presentation mostly on Environmental Health. He summarized his good impression by saying “I had always thought KHRC was a small place, this is a place that compares anywhere in the world”.
