KHRC Director Attends 29th Annual General Meeting Of The District Directors Of Health Service Group Ghana

Director of KHRC, Dr. Kwaku Poku Asante attended the 29th Annual General Meeting of the District Directors of Health Services Group Ghana which was held in Takoradi, Western Region from the September 26 to 30 2022.

The conference was under on the theme: “Strengthening NCDs Services within primary healthcare towards a resilient pandemic preparedness and response: the role of the DDHS”.

The workshop was attended by several dignitaries including; Dr. Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, Director General of the Ghana Health Service, Professor Fred Newton Binka, renowned Clinical Epidemiologist, Hon. Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah, Regional Minister, Western Region, Dr. Francis Chisaka Kosolo, Country Representative for WHO Ghana, Dr. Franklin Asiedu Bekoe, Director, Public Health Division-GHS, Dr. Yaw Ofori Yeboah, Regional Director Of Health Services, Western Region, Dr. Fred Adomako Boateng, Regional Director of Health Services, Bono East and Professor Ernest Kenu, Program Director, GFELTP, SPH-UG.
