Pupils of Hillcity Montessori School embark on an educational visit to KHRC

As part of Hillcity Montessori School's career day celebration, pupils from the school on May 26, 2023 embarked on an educational visit to the Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC). The visit aimed to provide the pupils with valuable insights into real-life situations that go beyond the confines of a classroom. It formed a crucial part of the school's vision of producing students who are highly trained in both theory and practice.

Accompanied by their teachers, the pupils were taken on an informative tour of the Seth Owusu-Agyei Medical Laboratory, including the various units. This unique opportunity allowed them to witness firsthand the cutting-edge research and other activities conducted at the laboratory.

After the tour, the pupils had the privilege to interact with Dr. Kwaku Poku Asante, Director of KHRC. The pupils shared with him their newfound knowledge and experiences from their visit to the laboratory. Additionally, they eagerly spoke about their individual career aspirations, showcasing the diverse range of fields they were interested in pursuing.
