Combating Household Air Pollution (CHAP) Group organizes stakeholders’ workshop to review study results.

The Combating Household Air Pollution (CHAP) Group comprising the Kintampo Health Research Centre (KHRC), Columbia University and University of California who are collaborators of the Columbia World Project (CWP), successfully organized a stakeholders’ workshop to review results of various studies including the national household energy and health survey which is the main activity for the CWP phase 1 study and adoption of LPG as clean household energy.
The discussions explored progress towards the implementation of the Cylinder Recirculation Model as well as the National Household LPG Promotion Programme, and how digital technologies and delivery services could be used to facilitate quicker transitions to clean energy use in Ghana.
The invited participants were mainly representatives from key stakeholders including the Ministry of Energy, National Petroleum Authority (NPA), Energy Commission, The World Bank, Rancard and Zeepay.
