Biostatistics Unit Partakes In Mathematical Modelling Of Infectious Diseases Workshop in th Gambia

The Biostatistics unit of KHRC represented by Mr. Richard Tetteh partook in a workshop on the mathematical modelling of infectious diseases with a concentration on malaria disease. Mathematical modelling is the process of describing a real-world problem in mathematical terms, usually in the form of equations, and then using these equations both to help understand the original problem and also to discover new features about the problem.

The training which took place in The Gambia from February 20 to 24, 2023 was organised by the Medical Research Council Unit The Gambia at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine in collaboration with the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis, Imperial College London (UK).
